About Us

PV Weber Wools was incorporated in 1986, run by a motivated owner who had a passion for wool passed on by his father Rex Weber. The wool industry is constantly changing and Weber Wools is ahead of the curve.

At the turn of the millennium the business became more of a family affair with the employment of Peter's sons. The eldest (Peter Jr) comes from the textile industry working as a knitting technician. James works as insulation panel installer, and has worked in the wool industry intermittently. Mark is a registered builder, and runs the wool store.

We have been operating in Feilding for 6 years, operating out of the old Kawa Wool Scour. We buy wool off both local farmers and also other wool brokers. Our operation is tight and efficient with the majority of our wool exported direct to overseas mills.

Wool waste has been a part of the business for many years, and we supply many of the New Zealand manufacturers of wool insulation blankets, as well as exporting containers of thread waste internationally.

We are New Zealand Food and Safety Authority (NZFSA) accredited as an animal fibre premises, and have the systems required to run an efficient wool storage facility.
